I try to make a movie the best I can do. When I start a project, the first thing i make a plan how to do make it. And I make a style frame when I listen to music. I think that the music is best part on working. After that I make animatic. I make 3d objects in 3dsmax or c4d, composite in after effects.

If you have a bachelor degree/education background; what is it?

I finished visual design art school

Where are you located?
I live in Seoul, Korea

Tell us about this movie you made, titled “Cheil Industry ‘Music’”. What was the idea behind it originally?

This was a freelance work for VEIG (veig.tv)

What would be your strangest assignment you have done? Why so?

I had a ‘Dunhill’ project that I had to make this in 3 days. It was 2 minutes movie. I couldn’t sleep 3days on working. Finally I finished the movie but it’s not vey well.

Describe how you feel at the starting of a new project?

I am really excited when I make a movie on new project. If I have to endure all hardship, I can find something.

How do you see yourself 5 years from now?

Maybe I will be a Director.

Could you share any insight for people just entering the field?

I think the best way that designer try to have sense of design.

Who is the person you look up to in this industry? Why so?

I like Rob Chiu, Christopher Hewitt. That’s why their movie’s emotional, sensual. I want to make a movie that touch a person’s heart.

How do you overcome creative block?

I walk around, see and hang around. And I find new things around world.

What’s one thing you wish you knew when beginning this passion?

When I start to do design, always keep in mind that ‘I have on my own design’ it won’t change. I will do work on my own design.
